I am enclosing a JRF (Project Staff) position at Symbiosis Institute of Technology- Applied Science Department, Symbiosis International University, Pune- India
Project title: Developing three-dimensional architecturally engineered nanoelectrocatalyst for fuel cell applications
Project description: One of the ways to produce green and clean energy is to use fuel cells. There are various components of a fuel cell, electrocatalyst being one of them. The JRF is expected to synthesize nanomaterials, characterize them and apply them in proton-exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC).
Eligibility:
Funding Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)- India
Fellowship: Rs 25,000/- per month (INR) + HRA (For NET/GATE qualified candidates)/ Rs 16,000/- per month (For NonNET/GATE qualified candidates)
Duration of the project: 3 years (till December, 19)
Application Deadline: 20th September 2017

Note: The appointment initially would be for one year and can be extended each year by one year, maximum up to three years depending upon the performance of the fellow and availability of funds from SERB.

- M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/ M.Sc (Nanoscience and Technology) or equivalent/ M.Tech Nanotechnology. Good academic record (at least 60% marks).
- NET/SET/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.
- Research experience in nanoparticle synthesis is desirable
