Einsteins first paper on General Relativity.....!!

On 25th November, 1915 Albert Einstein submitted his first paper on General Relativity. I still wonder, how he jumped to conclusions without having an access to the outer world like we have nowdays through internet and other media....!! Just amazing..... Maybe that's why he was Einstein.....:)
